Celebrate Lehigh Valley Beer Week
with us tonight as we
Pour It Forward.
Come down for some great FREE BEER and support a great local charity. That’s a win-win if I ever heard one! We’ll be pouring La Trappe Trappist Quad , Wit & Isid'or into beautiful La Trappe glasses. The first 40 pours are free, and then you have the opportunity to buy the glass. All proceeds benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Easton. Lanny Hoff, owner of Artisanal Imports, and Dean Young, executive director of the Easton Boys & Girls Club will be on hand helping us pour.
La Trappe is not just a beer brand. It’s also the chief revenue source for the Koningshoeven Abbey in the Netherlands. For every bottle or glass of La Trappe sold, money is raised to support their work, including charity. To tie charity and beer together may seem odd, but it’s a perfect manifestation of what the monastery, brewery and beer are all about. Pour It Forward is designed to accomplish two things. First, it raises money for a local charity. Second, it exposes beer drinkers to La Trappe … a world class beer you won’t soon forget.
We’ll also have some cool giveaways and opportunities to purchase items to support the cause. Don’t miss this one!
ps - The snowplows have been busy. Plenty of parking on 7th Street between Walnut & Washington. Meters are free after 6pm.
Break out those old records!!!

At Black & Blue we strive to bring you quality spirits at a fair price. Most establishments use run-of-the-mill or off-brand liquors in their cocktails unless you ask for something better. At Black & Blue we don’t think you should have to ask…you deserve better. That’s why all of our spirits are premium quality. For our house gin we pour Bluecoat, distilled right here in Pennsylvania. Our well bourbon is Buffalo Trace, rated as one of the world’s greatest whiskies by Jim Murray, author of The Whiskey Bible. And where most recipes call for triple-sec, we trade up with Cointreau. Better ingredients are the basis for a better cocktail, they bring out the subtle nuances that the original inventors intended. As the old adage goes… you get what you pay for. We hope you’ll agree.
